They also have high fiber content, which is always a good thing for a constipation remedy. Apples, pears and other fruits are also great. As for vegetables, green leafy ones can be relied upon to keep people’s vitamin supplies up. Whether they are cooked or eaten raw in salads, they make great constipation remedies.
