Why are so many people so hooked to The Walking Dead TV series? What is it about? The Walking Dead is about the adventures and misadventures of a group of people trying to survive after a zombie apocalypse. Rick Grimes, the star of the series, tells how an American from Kentucky police wakes from a coma after an incident in the line of duty, to find a world ravaged bodies of fresh and eager, not knowing who has passed around goes in search of his family. On his way he found several survivors in search of a place to settle and be safe or at least be able to cope with the zombie threat that stalks them. The Walking Dead Episode 1 became successful and had at least 5 million viewers during its premiere. Fans were really satisfied with the production of the movie and the cast portrayed their roles pretty well. The zombies look really amazing and there’s plenty of gore to satisfy the hardcore audience.
Its premiere last October 31st was just perfect for the Halloween. A lot of viewers were curious of how the film would go about knowing that it was based on a famous comic book series. AMC which aided in the production of this film was very happy with the feedback on the movie. AMC’s President Charlie Collier said that he was very proud of the series and said, “It’s a good day to be dead”. He was impressed with the depth of storytelling and the remarkable talent attached.
This series does not only teach the audience about survival. It also teaches the value of team work, cooperation, trust and honesty. Here, you will learn how relationships are important and how vital following instructions and listening to others are. Looking after other people and being selfless are also some of the lessons you can learn from this movie.
