  • Direct TV Sunday Ticket Costs

Posted on June 27th, 2009 admin No comments

This upcoming NFL season should be interesting from a business perspective.  While the pundits on TV keep saying we are in an economic Armageddon, nothing motivates the American consumer to spend money more than the National Football League.  This year, the cost for the Direct TV  Sunday Ticket package is expected to be around $300.  If you want the Red Zone channel plus HD access, you have to pay another $99 for the Superfan add on.  Will they typical fan be ready to spend $400 on NFL programming in 2009?  It is hard to say, but Direct TV is still betting on the NFL.  They recently renewed the Sunday Ticket package at the cool price of $1 billion dollars a year, so they are certainly expecting their customers to keep on paying for the NFL.
