Fat, Cigarettes And People

Don’t ever forget that you’re at the bottom of the social food chain if you’re fat.  There are things that are immediately readable when you talk to people.  Things like cigarettes, being overweight, or dressing badly are all things that are immediately readable and they are things that immediately ruin your first impressions.  Never smoke.  Not because it’s ‘bad for you’ or because it’s ‘going to give you cancer’, or not because it’s ‘going to ruin your life’.  Don’t smoke because it makes people look down on you, smokers and non smokers included.  Both of them.  The same thing is true about overweight people.  Fat immediately ruins your first impression just like being a smoker.  Remember that. Get out there, take your fitness seriously for once, and remember that.  Personal training is important.  Don’t lose weight for the ‘it will help your health.  Don’t lose weight for the ‘look’.

Lose weight because people will hate you otherwise.  People will hate you if you are fat.  They’ll have to look at you, go ‘oh, you’re fat’, and then try very hard to not think about it, but it will always be there, like the elephant in the glass house.  Don’t be fat.  You can’t afford it.  You don’t have time to leave like that.  You don’t have a way to have that get out of your way.  Lose weight.  You will want to remember that.  You will always want to remember that about yourself.  Don’t stay fat.  Don’t stay fat the way you don’t want to stay a smoker.  A clever alcoholic can cover it all up to the point where first impressions don’t include ‘oh hey, you’re an alcoholic!’.  A clever smoker can do some things to cover up their habit.  Addictions are dangerous, but addiction to food ruins your face.

Being fat is not something you ever want to look like.  You will want to look at stuff in your life that are making you fat.  Keep this in mind as well:  different triggers in food trigger different people at different times given the modern diet.  The modern diet consists mostly of corn that has been processed to death.  By dropping the processed corn, you should be able to stay out of trouble, and you can do it gracefully socially by simply telling everybody you went to the doctor and you can’t have corn or you’ll get sick.  You’ll notice some interesting things with mental clarity if you drop corn and corn syrup out of your life fast enough that you can be truthful about feeling better ‘as soon as you dropped corn’ without being socially awkward.  It’s not ‘your fault’ you have a huge problem with corn.
