Get a Free Straight Talk Samsung R451C Pay as You Go Phone

The LG 220C Straight Talk is still available for free online at the official website.  If you are planning to get a Straight Talk phone, this could potentially be a good option for you. At this moment in time, this phone is the only one available for free on StraightTalk.com. There are periodically new deals released so depending on when you read this article, you may find several other free phones or on different one. It really depends on when you look. It’s definitely worth a look though.

The latest news is the release of three new Straight Talk phones, Nokia E71, Nokia 6790, and Samsung t528G. The first two are smartphones and the third is a touch screen phone that downloads apps. These three phones are the best that ST offers currently.  Straight Talk’s Nokia E5 is a great option too!

If you’re looking for a hot promotional holiday cell phone deal (who isn’t), then you may be interested in the one that Straight Talk unveiled on its website, StraightTalk dot com a few days ago. The deal is for a free Samsung R451c cell phone. You get the phone 100% gratis. All you have to do is pay for the first month of service on the unlimited plan, which you would have to do anyway to use your Straight Talk phone. This is a pretty hot deal going on right now–and it ends as soon as this month does (December 2010). You can buy up to two phones at a time, so you can buy one for you and the other as a gift for someone else. There are actually two other free Straight Talk phones on this offer. One is the LG 220C and the other is the LG290C. I prefer the Samsung r451C since it is a little bit of a higher end phone, but they are all three nice phones.

Straight Talk is a prepaid carrier, so you never have to sign a contract or sign up for long term service. You just pay as you go, which is pretty much what prepaid phones are all about. These deals will not last for very long, so if you’re interested you should move quickly. This company is actually owned by TracFone and runs on the Verizon network, which means you get better service than you would on another prepaid network. It’s nice to know that you will be dropping fewer calls and saving money at the same time. There is nothing else you need to do to get the free Straight Talk phone. As soon as you buy the first month of talk time, the phone will be shipped to you.

The Samsung R451C is a slider phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera, and bluetooth capability. With the Unlimited service plan, you get unlimited web browsing (!) in addition to unlimited calling and texting. You also get unlimited 411 and GPS.

More Free Straight Talk Phones

The phones that Straight Talk has been giving away for free with a first month of talk time purchase have changed over the course of the past free months that the offer has been going on, but rest assured there are still a few phones being offered for free on StraightTalk.com.  The current phones being offered are the LG 220C and the LG 420G.  Both phones are flip style phones with mobile web service and bluetooth capability.  If you’re looking for a good deal on a prepaid phone, you might find what you’re looking for at the official website.  You can choose between the two Straight Talk plans that are currently available and you can get the free phone with either one.  The first plan costs $30 for 1,000 minutes and the second costs $45 for Unlimited minutes.  Yeah, unlimited minutes.  Not to mention unlimited web browsing, text messaging, and 411 calls.

Isn’t it slightly odd that Straight talk would be giving away CDMA phones only? Especially in the light of the GSM smart phone options have almost become extinct. I would like to think they weren’t prepared for the 4th quarter sales last year, and have sold out. Instead of running out of their prepurchased bulk AT&T airtime.
