Hair Plugs For A New Head Of Hair

Dealing with balding and baldness can be very important for a man especially in this youth culture we live in.  With the job markets so tight, you need every advantage you can get in order to first get your foot in the door and then land the job.  If you are balding then most people will look at you and assume you are ten or even fifteen years older than you really are.  This age discrepancy can mean the difference between getting a job and not.

In order to get hair growing in a bald spot you really have only one long term solution.  Oh sure, there are all kinds of products out there that claim you can apply them to your scalp and then in thirty days you get a full head of hair again but this is just not true.  The fact is, hair implants or hair plugs are the only way you can have hair once your original has fallen out.

Most men, actually about 95% of them, lose their hair on their head due to a medical condition called Androgenic Alopecia.  The common name for this problem is male pattern baldness because it usually causes hair loss in two distinct patterns.  First, you will see hair falling out above the forehead which gives a receding hair line.  The other pattern involves hair loss at the top, or crown area, of the head which gives what is known as a “classic bald spot.”

This loss is caused by the hair follicles (hair roots) being incapable of producing hair shaft material due to attack by a naturally occurring hormonal substance.  Once attacked, they will no longer produce hair which means the only option is to replace them.  When using the hair implantation process, living hair follicles from the back of the head are removed and implanted into the bald spot.  This will give hair that will continue to grow for years to come.
