  • How A Central Vac System Operates.

Posted on November 4th, 2009 admin No comments

A Central vac system works on a very simple idea.  A base unit which provides the power and suction to the system is located in your home.  Form there tubes run around your home, unobtrusively built in to your walls.  These can be accessed in the rooms of your home by inlets.  When you wish to vacuum, you turn on the base unit, attach a lightweight hose to one of the inlets and vacuum the area that the length of hose allows you to vacuum.  Then you simply move on to the next inlet and repeat the process.

The vacuumed dirt and dust is carried back to the base unit via the tubes and every few months, when the bag or canister is full, you can empty it out and your system is ready to go again. Feel free to drop in to http://thecentralvacuum.com to read up some more on central vacuum systems.
