For many, the idea of becoming a photographer is exciting, inspiring, and for those who
want to make money it is their idea of a romantic way to make a living. But contrary to
what they think, photography is not for every one. Before you make a decision, see if photography is for you.

One of the best and simplest ways to become a photographer and just to see if you
really would like to be a photographer is to spend the day with a photographer.  Just spend
a few hours in a day to see what this professional  does for a living.  And see if you like
it and asked yourself ” can I actually see myself doing this for the rest of my life?”

And if you say to yourself “hey, I think I can do this”…..

The next thing is to check out local classes.  There are a lot of affordable classes at
community colleges around that you can probably pay anywhere between
$35-$70 for an informal class or workshop. You also want to consider buying an affordable
entry-level digital slr camera. Nothing too expensive, just something that will allow you to
have more control over the photo shots that you take

Just something we are not going to spend a lot of money, but you will spend just a little money just to take a photography class and to get to know other individuals who share your interest. Just something to get you going to give  you even more of a flavor of what it’s like to be a photographer and taking lots of different kinds of pictures

The other thing that you really want to look into is doing you have the time to actually become
a photographer?  Photography is one of those things where you need to spend  time learning
in order to become good enough for someone to pay you for your work. So do you actually have
enough time doing it.

Another thing that you do if you go to the bookstore or Internet and look
at tons and tons of pictures and all stuff related to photography and if that “Floats
your boat” and gets you going,then that is your first clue that you can become a
photographer and from there.  But you need to take a class few classes still.

If you have the opportunity you might want to consider becoming and apprentice.
an apprenticeship is a great way to learn any industry.  All you need to do is find a local
photographer in towns, who needs you to load and carry their equipment, and you’re in.
Chances are that this person will have the best digital slr camera and equipment that you
can learn on. Realize though, that this will not be a glamorous start.  But if you have a good eye, and you can take direction well, and more importantly, you can listen to people then chances are that you can become a photographer
