There are essentially two types of fitted wardrobes that you can buy although within the two broad categories there are endless other option available. The two broad categories I’m talking about are wall to wall wardrobes and wall to room wardrobes.

The easiest to install yourself is a wall to wall wardrobe because you don’t have to construct one of the wardrobe walls yourself. With a DIY wall wardrobe you simply have to measure up the room to put in the wardrobe tracks and do the installation for those. There are no hassles with either of the walls because the room walls will serve that purpose for you.

This makes it sound overly simple which is not the case. Care still must be taken when doing the installation of a fitted wardrobe, although it’s not the major undertaking that it would otherwise be.
