One of the most disturbing trends for me is the death of the small town. I grew up in a small town of 800 people. Actually I guess that would be considered a tiny town or maybe a burg. There wasn’t a lot to do but there wasn’t many ways to get in trouble either. People looked after each other and if they saw you doing something you weren’t supposed to be doing your dad found out right away. Then it was trip to the wood shed.

Small towns are dying because there are no family wage jobs left. People are forced to move to big cities in order to make ends meet. This is why I think a successful online business is so powerful. You can live anywhere you want and still make a decent living.

If a city is your thing, live there. If the mountains interest you, move there. If a small town is where your heart is, come join us.
