Portable car battery chargers
Posted on September 28th, 2009 No commentsAlthough everyone has one in the car very few people understand how car batteries work. When you look inside a car battery you will find that there are lead plates are immersed in an acid solution, when the circuit is open the reaction between the lead and acid is put on hold as there is nowhere for the electrons to go, however when the battery is connected to something drawing an electrical charge such as a starter motor or head lights the reaction will start. The reaction which causes the flow of electrons is the covering of the lead plates with lead sulphate crystals once the lead plates are fully covered the battery will be completely out of power and will require a services of a portable car battery charger which will be able to bring the battery back to life.
