Copper Yard Art

I enjoy decorating my yard and garden areas with different art pieces. I am especially fond of copper because of the way it ages over time. I just love the greenish patina that form on the copper. I have a few pieces of copper yard art that are coated to preserve the shinny new appearance, but I let most of my pieces age.

The other metal that I like for yard art is wrought iron. I love the intricate shapes and patterns that can be made with such a solid piece of metal. Most of the wrought iron and copper art pieces I have work best hanging on walls or fences. I have a few that are stand alone pieces or sculptures and my absolute favorites are the pices that blend two or more different types of materials together.

You can sell them and make decent money at your local crafts shows, specialty shops, or even coffee houses in your neighborhood.

Since you love to craft, why not make a little cash off it too? Your first task is to make a good assortment of cards. Try for 15 different designs, be creative and original, this isn’t too hard with how easy the Expression machine makes it to design and print. Birthday cards for all ages and genders are always good as are Thank You cards, Anniversary cards, Get Well, Sympathy, Just Because, and whatever else you can think of. Once you have the cards you are well on your way.
