I remember having a new laptop for the first time ever. Oh how wonderful it felt at the time. As we can get free wireless internet access almost everywhere, I now cannot leave my home without my laptop. One thing I hate about it is carrying it is such a hassle. I really don’t like the laptop case that they gave for free when I bought the new laptop. It’s not cool enough for my taste. It looks too business-like and I don’t want to look like a yuppie. So a laptop computer backpack is more convenient for me. That’s right, I want to be able to carry it as a backpack. Apart from that, I’ll get all these other pockets that I can store my other gadgets such as my Ipod, MP3 player, PSP and more. Now transporting my laptop is no longer a concern any more.

Backpacks
Backpacks are a very common item for school age kids to have to carry around their books and other items like sack lunches. This age range also loves to be creative so you will see a lot of custom touches added to their backpacks. I have seen items like pins, patches, cool fabrics with patterns, sewing and custom art. Some of the hand done art is just awesome. Ther are many ways to add your own designs to the backpacks and most of the are very safe for school aged kids to do. For my personal backpack, I found a near white plain colored backpack and I had all of the friends I could find to sign it just like a cast.
Computer Bags
I have a large laptop and a large computer backpack to carry it. I like the backpack a lot for all of the padding, storage and ease of use that it provides. I recently broke one of the latches on this computer bag. The crummy thing is that this latch is the main one that keeps the top flap strapped down to the rest of the bag. I am not sure how to repair it because it is a plastic clip mechanism and the piece that broke off is long gone. I was looking at other computer bags to replace my broken one, but they are more money than I want to spend. I have yet to find a replacement part that will work so for now I am stuck with using a broken backpack.
