I know it sounds wierd, but the last time I needed to get a gift I chose a cubic zirconia ring instead of a diamond one. It wasn’t about the money, either, it was about the look. People may call cubic zirconia rings fake, but for jewelry it all comes down to how they look anyways. And to me, cubic zirconia has much more fire and brilliance than diamonds do. This might be because I never saw an exceptionally high quality diamond ring and I have seen some truly incredible CZ rings. But this just goes to show how much easier it is to get great value in cubic zirconia. And with a CZ ring, I don’t need to worry as much about it getting lost, stolen, or damaged. In the end, jewelry and fashion is all about enjoyment. For me, cubic zirconia rings are far more enjoyable than their diamond counterparts.
