When you are depressed you have a feeling that you are totally useless to the world. You don’t have to energy to undertake anything and even brushing your teeth or making dinner is a very hard thing to do. Depression will make you feel sad about yourself. You could start crying about nothing and intensively feel sad. You sleep too much or too little and you eat bad. When depression is very serious you could even start to make plans for suicide. First you will stick to making plans but when the situation gets worse you may even do an attempt. Finding a doctor or a psychologist will help you to get rid of depression. First they will give you medication and the psychologist will give you cognitive treatment to learn to cope with yourself.
