Most repossession homes are that are taken over by banks or other finiancial institutions are ultimately sold at auction. The auction of such properties is relatively simple, it is certainly quick in that at the end of the auction the sale of the property is guaranteed and only made to those who have proved they can pay, and is impersonal in that the original owner of the repossession home is almost certainly not present as this would be seen as prejudicial to the successful outcome of any sale.
Repossession homes are a modern day curse on society and reflect perhaps more than any other symptom the suffering that is occuring as a consequence of the excesses of lending that have occured in recent years. This may seem to be preaching but this is simply the reality with which we have to live and the test of our modern society is how we deal with the demands placed upon us at this time.
