Though I haven’t been there yet, I am getting very excited about an upcoming trip my wife and I have planned to visit Puerto Rico. We both absolutely love the water, and the tropical, Caribbean turquoise waters that surround the island are going to be wonderful to relax around and play in (and on). One of the driving motivations behind our travel is to find new places to kite surf. While I’m still a relative beginner, the excitement and freedom of the sport make it extremely addictive. I have yet to convince my wife to get out on the water and try it with a full sized kite, but until she gets to that point she continues to have fun playing with the 1 meter trainer kite on the beach. She has gotten very good at handling it and can even make it do loops now. I think she’s ready to join me with a beginners lesson in the waters of Puerto Rico.
