It is cool to be hanging out at the beach in Seaside Heights, with it being Memorial Weekend and all. The only problem is it the temps are cool too. The water temperature is 55 degrees and the air temperature is 67 degrees. And it is not going to get much warmer. The high today is supposed to be 72 – and the ocean is not changing temps anytime soon. At least no this weekend. Tomorrow should be a little warmer but cloudy and it might rain. Monday is supposed to be 67.

This is not what I had in mind when I thought about coming to the beach this weekend. I was thinking more like laying on the beach, checking out hot girls in skimpy bathing suits and swimming in the ocean. Now I think it will be more like sitting on the beach wrapped in a blanket, trying to not get to cold from the breeze coming inland off of the cold water.

I will still enjoy some time away from home. I can go out with my friends at night and spend some time in the arcades on the boardwalk during the day. I just am not going to be getting many (perhaps any!) swimming in.
