Today’s at-home teeth whitening products come in three general varieties. At-home whiteners are usually in the form of toothpastes, strips, or trays. The price of teeth whitening at home depends on which one of these methods you decide to use. Toothpastes are the least expensive method, but also the slowest to work and the one that shows the least amount of results. Strips are more expensive than toothpastes but also show more results quicker. They can generally lighten teeth by two to three shades within a month’s time. The most expensive, but also most effective way to brighten your smile at home is to use a system built around a tray. Trays have an advantage over strips because they allow for a stronger bleaching agent, you teeth can become brighter by three to five shades, and they give you a more even bleaching.
