Not so long ago, it was extremely rare to find anyone who spent any amount of money on outdoor lighting. At best most people would have a single light outside the backdoor so that they could see to let the cat back in late at night. Things in lighting have changed enormously in recent years, and now it is quite common to come across folks whose spending on garden lighting runs into the thousands of dollars. Solar lighting outdoors makes sense for a number of reasons. It is quick and very simple to install (you literally just decide where you want the light fixture to live and then fix it in place), and once it is installed it costs nothing to run which means you get to keep a few extra dollars in your pocket and you are doing your little bit to help the environment.
